Fixes to bugs that are common to both V3 and V2 are released for both versions. If a change is such only to happen in V3 then it will not be retrofitted to V2. It is very difficult to say what those are until devlopment plans are made.

A similar problem exists with creating a contour edge on the opposite side of a non-round hole (dado). If you correct this problem in V3, will you also correct in V2?
