Design Improvement – Cabinet Design Software

When designing assemblies it is helpful to know the location and size of different boards. SketchList 3D has several ways of showing the locations and sizes.   One is in the assembly spreadsheet and another is in the board form.  These both show the location of the opposing edges of a board (e.g. left and right edges) and the size (e.g. width).  Because cabinet design software is so visual at times, we have a third place to see the location and size of the board – numerically speaking.  That third place is right on the two dimensional images of the design.Using Dim lines in cabinet design software

This video shows how to use the show dim feature – under the button in each 2D image area in the main screen of SketchList 3D.  This was woodworkers can see where and how large a board is within the design area.
